- You get a personalized written quote and a trip plan from Eugenio Mendoza, our international patient coordinator, before you book anything.
- You travel. Treatment happens at our clinic in Curridabat, with our own on-site lab.
What is actually in the clinic

- LED whitening lamp.
An in-house lab matters for a traveling patient for one specific reason: when something needs to be adjusted, it is adjusted the same day instead of being shipped out and rescheduled for a trip you have already taken.
How long dental implants last
A 2026 systematic review and meta-analysis in BMC Oral Health pooled eight studies of short dental implants (6 mm or less) and found a ten-year survival rate of 91.2% at the patient level and 93.7% at the implant level. In the same analysis, standard-length implants had a significantly higher ten-year survival than short ones, and average marginal bone loss over ten years was 0.277 mm.
Short implants are used when there is not enough jawbone height for a standard implant. Which one applies to you is decided from your X-ray, not from a website.

We do not publish fixed prices. Implant cases vary too much — number of implants, bone grafting, extractions, the final restoration — for a number on a web page to mean anything. Anyone quoting you a flat price before seeing an X-ray is quoting a guess.
